Step-by-Step Installation Guide for LiFiMAX® Compact

STEP ONE

First, check to make sure that the internet router or modem is ON and that the Internet signal is in good working order.

STEP TWO

Plug one end of the CAT6 Ethernet cable to your Internet router or modem, and then plug the other end of the CAT6 Ethernet cable into one of the PoE switch ports. This allows the PoE switch ports to receive Internet signals from the router or modem.

STEP THREE

Connect another CAT6 ethernet cable to the other PoE switch port, and the other end of the CAT6 ethernet cable to the LiFiMAX® access point. The LiFi access point will receive power and data from the PoE switch port at the same time, and takes about 13 to 15s to illuminate and turn on. If you connect the LiFiMAX® access point directly to the Internet router or modem, it will not turn on.

STEP FOUR

Plug the USB Type-A port to your computer system and the USB Type-C port to your LiFiMAX® USB dongle port. An ethernet network should be displayed on the “Network & Internet Settings”
